Hive Hobbies: Makers Space - Custom Lettering Stitching!
Let's make a statement! This will be a hands-on class at the studio of Gale Nation who will provide one of her custom letter embroidery templates and teach us how to stitch something special onto one of our favorite wearables!

About the Event
Gale Nation is a hand-lettering artist who loves penmanship, stitching, and painting - and has been doodling all her life. She sells her hand-lettered goodness at Hallmark stores and stockists all over the USA, and does art shows, markets and teaches classes across the Midwest. She also teaches virtual classes from her home studio, as well as in-person workshops in the Kansas City area. Her love of embroidery and stitching is big - and she's added classes featuring her lettering in stitched designs, too. Color is fun and she embraces it wholeheartedly. A new line of embroidery patterns featuring her lettering will be available in the spring of 2024.
Cost: $27 a person. Includes instruction by Gale Nation with one of her custom stencil templates. A needle, embroidery floss and embroidery hoop will be provided. You will need to provide and bring your own sweatshirt or other item to stich. Also bring sharp scissors.
Tickets are nonrefundable. This event is open to those who have joined The Hive and is limited to 18 persons.
