1. Event Cancellation: 

By paying required fees for participation in any event, meeting, travel or activity (each a “Hive Event”) hosted, conducted, arranged or organized by The Hive Women LLC and/or its affiliates (“The Hive”), you are reserving a spot. All reservations for Hive Events are nonrefundable unless otherwise noted. If you are unable to attend, you can transfer your reservation to another person, but will not receive any refund payment from The Hive.

 

2. Membership: 

You hereby acknowledge and agree that your “membership” in The Hive and your status as a “Hive Member” does not include any ownership, partnership or other interest in The Hive Women LLC and/or its affiliates, in whole or in part. You further hereby acknowledge and agree that “membership” does not entitle you to any rights or interests granted to owners of The Hive, including, but not limited to, sharing in any profits or losses, participation in management, and/or voting and decision making. 

 

3. Terms of Use:  

By attending or participating in any Hive Event and/or accessing or using this website, including any information on the “thehivewomen.com” domain (collectively, the “Hive Website”), whether as a volunteer, member, participant, organization or otherwise, you agree to be bound by each of the The Hive Terms and Conditions.

The Hive reserves the right to change or modify any of the The Hive Terms and Conditions or any policy or guideline, at any time and in The Hive’s sole discretion. The Hive reserves the right to cancel or change any trip, event, meeting, or activity of any nature without notice and without liability for such cancellation.

To the greatest extent permitted by law, The Hive assumes no liability or responsibility for injury, loss, or damage to persons or property, inconvenience, delay, or expense arising from, caused by or relating to weather conditions, acts of God, war, accident, government restrictions or regulations, illness, medical condition, Event cancellation, traffic or road condition, or any other cause, condition, act or omission whatsoever other than the gross negligence or willful misconduct of The Hive.

By attending or participating in any Hive Event and/or accessing or using the Hive Website, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Hive and its officers, directors, owners, members, employees and agents from and against any claims, causes of action, demands, losses, damages, fines, penalties or other costs or expenses of any kind or nature, including attorney’s fees, arising out of or connected with such attendance, participation, access and use.

 

The Hive may enter into contracts, make arrangements and/or facilitate connections with hotels, restaurants, social venues, telemedicine program providers, and other businesses and entities which are owned and operated by third parties (collectively “Providers”). By attending or participating in any Hive Event and/or accessing or using the Hive Website, you acknowledge and agree that The Hive is not, and shall not be held, responsible for any negligent, willful or other act, omission or failure to act on the part of any Provider or any other third party.

 

The Hive’s Website offers connections with an obesity telemedicine program powered by the CareGLP™ platform by CareValidate Inc. CareGLP™ is a patient management platform that collaborates with independent physicians and practitioners. The Hive does not offer medical or pharmacy services. The Hive disclaims any representation and warranty regarding, and is not responsible for the efficacy of, or any side-effects, illness, injury or death caused by, GLP-1 or other weight loss medication that accessed through the Hive’s Website and/or the CareGLP™ platform. The information concerning weight loss medicine and the CareGLP™ program presented on The Hive’s Website is for informational purposes only and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.  The Hive’s name and logo may appear on print, posted or hand-held materials at various locations and forms, and is solely intended to help participants identify persons or locations and does not indicate that The Hive owns, controls or operates any entity displaying The Hive name or logo or employs or controls any person wearing, holding or displaying such name or logo.

4. Media Consent:

I authorize The Hive to take and use my image (photographs and any other forms of media material) for educational, informational, and promotional purposes. Images may be used for, but not limited to, social media, websites, publications, newsletters, advertising materials, and other media types not specifically listed. I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve printed or electronic matter that may be used now or in the future, whether that use is known or unknown to me, and I waive any right to royalties or other compensation related to the use of my image.
