Hive Hobbies: Reading with Readers with Author and Comedian Taylor Kay Philips

Taylor Kay Phillips is an Emmy-Award winning writer and comedian originally from Kansas City, Missouri who lives in NYC. She currently works for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on HBO. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, and Reductress among others.  Her book A Guide to Midwestern Conversations is a funny illustrated guide to the common phrases and sentiments of the American Heartland. Books will be available for purchase and signing after Taylor speaks to the group with a part of the proceeds going to the Hive's July Charity. 

This will be a fun evening in the Nick & Jake's Presidents Room with author and comedian Taylor Kay Philips . Plan to purchase your dinner, appetizers, or drinks as Nick & Jake's will give 10% of our group total back to our July charity, the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead.

6:15 PM - Taylor K. Philips speaks about writing and her book A Guide to Midwestern Conversations.
