Hive Social: Zhou B Art Center Tour with Lunch at Arthur Bryant's

The Zhou B Art Center located in the historic 18th and Vine Jazz District opens on June 1st.   The Center is the result of the historic redevelopment of the Crispus Attucks School by the Zhou Brothers - Two renowned Chinese painters currently based in Chicago who have become celebrity artists in the US and Europe for their contemporary art.   It was their vision for the Art Center when they saw the abandoned school on a visit to Kansas City.  

The center's goal is to create and maintain a thriving community of active artists within the Zhou B Art Center of Kansas City that extends to the surrounding community and beyond. They seek talented artists who will share their experience, expertise and camaraderie with fellow artists to help cultivate that community. 

We will be touring the new center which includes 45 art studios, a 30,000 SF sculpture garden, multiple gallery and event spaces, an auditorium, lounge and retail space. 

Before the tour we will eat lunch at KC's famous Arthur Bryant's BBQ.

COST: $7 per person for tour.  Cost of lunch is on your own.   

Ticket fees are nonrefundable. This event is open to those who have joined The Hive and is limited to 30 guests.
